What's a good "unusual" investment?
I want to dump 10% of my stock portfolio into some sort of "unusual" investment. Something crazy. Something that's uncorrelated to the rest of the stock market. I'm not talking about a market inverse, like a bear fund, but rather something that's so far out there that it really doesn't care which way the major indices move. Of course, to qualify as a true investment, it must be something that will hold up to intelligent analysis. What's the best idea out there?

You might attempt commodities. They tend to have a very low corrolation coefficient to equities. Here is a link to several index funds that are commodity based.

GSP has a stated corrolation coefficent of 0.01 to the S&P 500. Pretty low.

I had the same problem as you have.
I had a good amount of money, but didn't knew where to invest it.
So I looked around for something that gave me a great return towards a low risk.
And the only thing I could find was a mannaged account.
Here you can follow up my results of every day:

I'm verry excited because I already have 45% ROI in one month and a half.
My moneymannager is giving me great support, and answer all of my questions almost immediatly.
Annyway feel free to contact me (adress on my blog) and I'll bring you in direct contact with my money mannager.
