Consider putting a little in CHN. And some is SWZ. And I think ACH is a bargain. You did not state your investment horizon. That is important. BAC has been beaten down remorsely also BBT. It may take a while for them to come back though. COP is a decent bet. No matter what we have to have oil. One thing that you need to take into account. It looks like the U S is going into a recession. This is not a real good time to be trying to make money on stocks. Technically, WMT looks interesting. It just broke above the 200 day moving average. That would be one for a lot of money short term. |

depends on your time frame. I would suggest going with brand names you know. Since it's the christmas season you might want to look into retailers like Target and Walmart. Also delivery companies like UPS and FedEx. Try to spread your money out and buy 5 different stocks (as many as you afford at $100,000 each). Get two retailers, two delivery companies and one try to go with an energy company.

$100,000 of WMT (Walmart)
$100,000 of UPS (UPS)
$100,000 of FDX (FedEx)
$100,000 of PRNEX (T. Rowe Price New Era) |
