What are some Stocks that will make a good amount of money in a month?

I am having a compition with a family member. If i can find a stock that makes money in the next month i get to keep what it made, and if they lose money i have to pay. What are some stocks that should keep making money for the next couple of months?

asking a question like that tells me you should stay far away from the stock market. But highly volatile stocks are likely to either kick your *** or make you some money

All depends upon the patience and the technique you use for stock selection. Huge profits can be made by identifying a undervalued fast growing businesses. As regards to Indian market, I can mention few stocks like Geodesic etc a company that is growing 80% every year for past 3-4 years. You need to stay invested for 10 years in a company like this.

Find out which companies are paying dividends - the stock price raises when the stock goes ex-dividend. Pick the right date to "check" the stock, and don't tell them how you did it.

The reason that this company is selling for less than .02 cents is because they have not filed in over 10 years..
They have commited to shareholders to file the form 10 in early 2007

This Company has a fuel network called "Best Aeronet"

This company owns Oil directional drilling companies, oil downhole rig assemblies . WMD equipment, Oil operation inspection companies, has large leases in Wyoming and Nevada and has already pulled drilling permits for Wyoming.

The market does not look very good anymore. I would short the market and bet it to go down. Buy SDS (proshares.com), it's a bet on the S&P 500 to go down. If S&P 500 goes down 1%, SDS will go up about 2%.
If you don't want to short anything, buy XLE (energy). XLE is an energy ETF (exchange traded fund). Gas prices will go up and demand from China will help push the price higher.
It's a good 3 month buy. It could go up and down $1 or $2 each day. So just hang on.

ETFs are like mutual funds that are traded on the exchange.
If you don't have much money and don't want to pay a commission, buy an index or sector fund from Vanguard.com.
T. Rowe Price and Janus are pretty good too.
EEM is also a good bet, it's an emerging market ETF. It should do well because it does not have any US stock.
However, the US market does have an impact.

You have to do the research too and go for it, be a fortune teller. LOL

Penny stock is on top of the list. You can gain more than 1000% within a really short period of time BUT you can also loose 99.99999% of money when you wake up in the next morning.

there are no quick answers with stocks. Sometimes the market goes up, sometimes it goes down. Fortunately, there are ways to make money off of both. You can short sell when you feel the market is going to decline, or buy low and sell high when the market is bullish.

ENCY Encysive pharmacutical. The stock is extremely undervalued at the moment and will shoot up at least 7-15% in the next few months.
