What are some fast ways to raise money when your 13 years old ?

At 13 you have a few options, almost all involve light physical labor. However you can gain valuable lessons at being self employed (and with remarkably little risk if your parents help out). Lawn mowing, lemonade stands, paper routes, baby sitting, and washing cars are all tried and true favorites. If you have any special skills (artistic ability, second language, computer skills, etc.) try to think of ways to put them to use at a profit

have a garage sale for all the items you don't need or want.

I think you got some good suggestions there. The only problem of dog walking is that you have to pick up after them. Disgusting.

Baby sitting is in great demand. It pays well, has long hours, sometimes from 6 pm until after midnight and does not require a lot of hard labor. After you develop your clientele you can work almost every night and do your homework while you are getting paid.

Learn to tell fortunes and do it at parties for maybe $3-$5 each person.

You can learn to read palms by checking out a book at the library. Reading Tarot cards is great, but you have to buy the cards.

Ask your parents if you can do extra house work around, provided they pay for your services.

Babysitting or walking dogs.

Check the Labor Laws in your State.

For example, in California you can work if you are 14.

It is getting warmer, so sell lemonade or ask for an allowance. You could also babysit and do chores for neighbors. Good luck on getting that money!
