Penny stocks are very, very, very risky and volatile.
Most folks think its a great way to earn fast, easy money. Believe me: Its not.
The ONLY thing penny stocks are good for is to get folks to part with their hard-earned money.
A few sayings about Wall Street:
There aren't any gifts on Wall Street!
Trees don't grow to Heaven. Neither do stocks!
Bulls [Buyers] earn money!
Bears [Sellers] earn money!

By definition, a penny stock is more like gambling than an investment. So to answer your question - none.

None. Sometime, read the spam you get promoting penny stocks. It's called pump and dump.

Jumping in with the "none" answer. Even if the stock grows, the transaction costs will wipe out your profits when you buy and sell.

Boy there are some major cynics out there. Penny stocks in general aren't good, but with some due diligence one can find some gems in that market. I'd urge caution because many of the stocks are Hyped that is some stock letter will come and look independent until you read the fine print that the opinion contained within isn't that of the newsletter it's been paid for by an "investment" broker or the company written up (the worst kind). Use your RISK money only and look for a company with a quality technology like Octillion (OCTL.OB on Yahoo as an example).

Penny stocks are not good investments. Very few actually make it out of the "penny stock" category.
Just remember, the initial stock price offer is based on company's assets, debts, liquidity......, so logically thinking, most likely that company and it's stock will not "reach" the sky.
