What are some good reasons as to why you should buy stock in Starbucks?

There are no good reasons, the run of this stock is over and now competetiors are entering the market. Name recognition is great but they have pretty much saturated the US market.

I wouldn't buy stock in Starbucks now that it is incredibly popular. I don't particularly know that much about the trends of Starbucks' stocks, but I would say look elsewhere.

The only reason to buy SBUX is to gain a tax advantage from all the money you will certainly loose. SBUX is dead, it has over saturated the market, it is not growing at its previous rate and on an earnings basis is ridiculously expensive. PEET is the only coffee related company that has any promise. Read what the former manager of a $400 mil hedge fund manager and host of Mad Money on CNBC has to say about it.

Note: I am NOT trying to talk you into buying PEET, just trying to keep you out of SBUX, personally I think that your best buy would be FWLT, ACM, and FCX but that is just my opinion.

There are no good reasons why anybody should by SBUX. The Chinese don't even want it over there. They're reasoning...Too little beverage for too much money. This stock has been moving down since mid November of last year while it's industry group continued to climb. That's never a good sign. Too many of it's fundamentals are too week for me to take an interest in it. The STO_BS is turning down as well as the MACDH.

Because it is expanding all the time and the profits are looking good,so go and sink a few hundred into it.

Starbucks is very popular, it's almost most like an accessory. It's like its "cool" to drink Starbucks. Plus there are a lot of places that Starbucks hasn't reached yet.

They only operate in 24 countries.

Can you imagine their profits when they operate in 240 countries?
