Personally, when I do business, I like to look at a persons eyes when I talk to them. I can see if they are receptive or not.

For me direct contact is always far better, body language can give you a feeling of what is being said, words are just words.

when you speak with someone on the phone you can't show them your body language, which in some situations could create misunerstandings. voice inflection becomes more important. an advantage is that you can be walking around naked (or whatever activity you choose) while on the phone.

Advantage of tel. conversation is : you can talk about romantic love and pick in your nose , or fart in the same time

onlii one i can think of is not have to say things face to face for me i talk to my abusive dad on the phone ..cuz well obv. hes abusive.. in other circumstances i prefer face to face chat better ;-)

Telephone conversation

pros:
can ignore the ringing
can get out of conversation by faking emergencies
don't have to be anywhere near the person you want to talk to
get to talk to the people you miss, and hear their voices.
can be slightly meaner to people
doesn't matter if you brushed your teeth or what your hair looks like
caller ID
you can take care of unpleasant business without having to be face to face with the other party/ies
being able to contact emergency services quickly

cons:
people call
telemarketers
Its annoying to talk on the phone
sometimes you do have to fake it to get off the phone
douche bags break up with you over the phone
you can't touch the person you're talking to or see their face
some people are meaner on the phone

well telephones can be wire tapd and people can be wired

if u r direct in contact u can do or show ur hug/luv/fight/anger/kiss etc. n other xpression n if u r on phone u can show that only by imagination or u can say in direct contact u can touch the nxt person while on phone u can't.moreover u can save ur money in direct contact. n main thing z u can spend ur valuable time with him/her.
