I use Wachovia. I hate Bank of America though, b/c they don't know what the "beep" they're doing there, and they don't have free checking. Mine does. I will only use a bank that doesn't screw up my account, naturally, and only if they have free checking. |

If you're thinking of setting up a new account, tread carefully. Some banks have hidden charges and require minimum amounts (sometimes $5000!).
I have researched the topic extensively - you might like to read my article below. Bank of America comes out favourably, as do Wachovia (read the info about overdraft charges though). Citibank are very good but require a $1500 balance for free banking - that may not suit everybody. |

I use Fidelity investments as a bank. They have something called my Smart Cash Account. It has checking, no monthly fee, they don't charge ATM fees if you withdraw money, and they rebate the fees that other banks charge, plus pay interest on checking. They also have a credit card that pays 1.5% cash back, which is great for someone who pays bills off every month. |

I too want use bank of America, I like wachovia and family Trust it's just a small family type credit union. But so friendly. and dose a great job also. Plus free checking. |
