I'll give you a couple of Fidelity funds that I have done very well with...FEMKX ( emerging mkts)...and FIGRX.
The emerging markets are a little more risky than the international discovery( FIGRX)...but it has been in the neighborhood of 35% returns for the last five years..( FIGRX is closer to 20% )
They are both down for this year so far...but what isn't ? If the markets stabilize in the next few months, they both should do better than your average U.S. fund...just the way things are right now.

Smart move on your part-that is what I am doing too. These funds like other funds run the gamut from conservative to aggressive. For a conservative approach you could look at the T Rowe Price family of funds,if you're more aggressive you could look at the Oberweis family of funds.
