I don't think investing in penny stocks is great, unless you know some inside info. on a company that's about to blow up (CC).
Go to this site and you could invest fantasy money and improve your skills as a trader (INVESTOPEDIA.com).
But if you really want to, do a lot of research and learn as much as you can about whatever stock you are thinking of buying.

Don't invest in penny stocks you'll most likely lose all your money. Instead learn to trade.
If you learn to trade you can make money whether the market goes up or down. You just need to learn some universal and basic rules and develop a system.
