Write fundraising letters to the biggest 50 businesses in your town. You can get the addresses from the town's Chamber of Commerce. Their donations are tax deductible, so they lose nothing but gain free advertising and the joy of helping! Write to banks, the energy company, your favorite restaurants. You can google "fundraising letter" if you need the wording. A few will send you $50. Some will send $100. Someone may even send the whole shebang!
