What is critria to purchase a shares of perticular company for beginners?

Focus
There are two ways to look at this :

One method is based on the company's past performance record, earnings reports, profit margins, EPS, guidance, P/E and book value. This type of analysis is called as Fundamental analysis.

The other method is based completely on the price of the stock. You look into the past and present prices of the stock, apply some mathematical and statistical functions to determine the current trend and predict the future price of the stock. This is called Technical Analysis

Surely you decide the criteria then a broker could suggest stocks that meet your criteria. What is your timescale? What is yor attitude to risk? How much cash have you got over and above your short/medium term requirements?

delta
no critiria at all. have money, purchase. no money, no purchase. u need to have a trading account with a broker and a demat account with a depository participant to keep ur shares.
apart from above you must have a pan card to open a demat account and a trading account. this is mendatory

manoj p

You need to open a DEMAT(dematerialisation) account. You may go to any DP (depository participant) like Kotak, Indiabulls, Asit C Mehta etc. and tell them that you want to open a demat. You need to possess your PAN card and other details like address, dob etc. Once the demat is opened u can buy any shares of any company. Good luck...Happy trading

if you are from INDIA you need a DEMAT account.

You need to have money, DE MAT account, PAN card to buy any shares. You should have enough courage to lose money as it is like horse race. The difference is here you slowly lose without notice.
