my friend i dont know properly but i also interested in share trading so i can write what i know .......if you got specific answer then please inform me ....
stock means assets of company
where as share means owner ship of the company...
stock which will be treated to issue the share from company
but on the contrary share made for selling or buying the stocks(which mentioned above) on be half of specific company.....

without having stocks; share can be issue, (for having stock) (or)to have the money for commence the business...but on the opposit we cant sell or buy the stock(if we dint have, how come????)

Fundamentally there are differences in the definitoin. But for all practical purposes you can consider both of them to be the same.

Dear Anshul, both are interchangeable terms. In routine you will find the people using both terms, the have same meaning.

But if you look narrow for the specific meaning, share is used for the portion of the ownership you got with number of stock of a particular company you have.

It's hardly any difference even if you trade these terms use as synonyms.

shares and stock are the same terms. both have the same meaning. if you read the newspapers ( financial ) you will find both the terms, some one will be writing share prices or some other person will write stock prices. no difference at between the two terms
