Think long term. Most of the "experts" are obsessed with quarterly and yearly trends and results. It is really difficult to make money at these games.
Companies like FedEx, 3M, Microsoft, Walgreens, Disney, Wal-Mart, and Starbucks have incredible records of constant growth and profit. Take a boring 6-10% yearly return and do not worry.

Meg...Out of Hybernation
The best and riskiest is the stock market. If you pick the right stocks, you can get great returns on your money. If you pick the wrong stocks, you loose money. You have to determine how much of a risk you are willing to take.

Looks to me like a pyramid scheme I would not invest any of your money there.

There are so many places you can invest your money its ridiculous. The first place you should invest is for retirement. There are many other places you should invest so you can earn some nice returns over the years. I did most of my research on this site.

That site has a section of just gerenal investing questions and information that is pretty nice. When I had questions about investing I made a list of them and gave these guys a call. They helped me figure out what investment strategy would work for me, so far everything is going well!

Investing in oil for the long isnt a bad idea. Companies that refine oil and sell it as gas such as Exxon Mobile, Chevron, BP are companies that will yeild nice profits over the next 6-12 months. Stay away from airlines in my opinon as they will suffer from the increase in gas prices.

Since you didn't give an amount or time frame, it is hard to say. For long term investing, the NYSE.

Real Estate in Emerging markets. Safety due to a hard asset as collateral and huge upside potential. Possible to earn 40% or more in the short term (less than one year) with litle risk. www.thesynergycorp.com or info@thesynergycorp.com to speak directly.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck!
