Share market is where investors buy and sell shares of listed companies.
The companies wish to raise resources list their shares on the exchanges. Normally through the IPO route ( Public offering ). Many investors and traders deal in these shares on the markets.
People trade through the brokers. They place buy and sell orders as specified by their clients. These are matched in a computerised environment and if matched trades takes place.
Shares and money change hands after the trades.
Share market are nothing about profits and losses. But investors will experience profits and losses depending on their positions in the market.
This is in essence all about share market. But please read more, discuss more. Few publications ( economic times, financial express, business today ), websites ( www.bseindia.com, www.nseindia.com ) and few books are good reading material.

when a company wants to expand it seeks for money and go to public and ask to buy share of company and when company make profit/loss it shares with shareholders in form of dividends.
U can also make money by buying shares of particular company at low price and sell it at higher price this is called capital appreciation.
While making profit in share market everything comes in picture for analyzing about a company in which u r investing....u have to analyze the earning capacity of the company for future, the favorable market for the company in future.....and intuition also works here......... |
