Before yous tart investing in one of these markets you have to learn allot about these markets.
But offcourse you want to let your money grow in meanwhile.
Then it's maybe a great idea to do the same as I did.
I always wanted to trade for myselfs on the forex.
But you have to know allot about this market to make some money off it.
So in meanwhile I decided to put my money in a mannaged forex account.
and it's working great!
This are the results till now:

I opened an account in investment plan from 7 month ago, and have good experience with them.
This company is located in UK. Their major field is Forex.
Shareholders are the best manager account in Forex market.
They pay 3, 4, 5 and 6 % (weekly profit rate),and payment is weekly.
Also they have Referral Program for anyone want to do business that; they are paying 5% (monthly) for total deposit of Direct Referral and 2.5% (monthly) for Indirect Referral.

Please note that it is good business opportunity and too simple, in fact you just send your money and get profit. Of course don’t forget time is too valuable in this plan.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any question, and more info ... documents of company, report of director,...

A sum that large should be invested conservatively.

Your first option should be to fund fully a retirement account. If you do this, and you have extra cash, then one of the best things you can do is open a DRIP Plan.

Go to : low-cost-stock-recommendations

.com

Click on the "DRIP's" Button on the Navigation Bar

These powerful investment plans are seldom talked about because brokers make very little money when they suggest them. Yet, they have proven to be one of the best, if not the best, long-term strategy on Wall Street.

They are perfect for small investors, as well as big investors. They are safe and allow you to not care about whether the market is going up or down. They are a must for any serious investor.

If you decide you are interested in DRIP Plans, click on the advertisement on the same page "$4 to purchase stocks". This will answer your next question, which is, How do I get started? and what is the least expensive way to get started?

I strongly recommend looking into it. They are great plans.

Good Luck

That's a tough call, because any investment you don't understand is inherently dangerous. Check if real estate in your area is cheap enough that you could put $30K down and then rent it out high enough to cover the mortgage payments and have some cash leftover. Don't touch stocks and bonds until you have some experience with mutual funds.

Go to your bank and ask them about Certificates of Deposit.

these CD have terms from 30 days to 5 years or mor.

intrest rates are like bond rates so dont look to turn this into a fortune.

buy a 90 day CD and then do some research on CDs and bonds. you can redeem them any time. if you wait till the maturity date, then you get all the accued interest. if you take it out early, you dont make as much or none at all...but you keep your money.

The worst thing that can happen is about $1500 extra this time next year.

You should learn to trade the stock market. Many professional traders can make 2 to 3 did-git returns on their money year after year.
All you have to do is learn a few simple rules and develop a system.
This site will teach you a lot and help you develop your own system.

Try Revlon (REV)

It is a well know company about to turn around.

They are going to announce earnings soon so it could run up quickly.
