invest in the real estate market in developing nations like india or china or those in europe that are entering the EU . I can help you in case of real estate investment in india ,provided your investment amount is less than 500,000 USD.
If the investment is more than 500,000 then in india there is a lot of bureauracy which i will be falling into and that makes delay in paying back the money which i don't want anymore.
I invest in real estate land devlopment and return the ROI of 15% to my investors .
But if you are interested in investing more than 500,000 you have to take resort to a big corporation .For more information write at kishaloy_bhowmick@yahoo.com

Safest investment would be us gov t-bills. But I would invest in local or state tax-exempt bond for safe but better return. Municipalities rarely ever default. If it's a fixed rate bond though you'll still have interest rate risk (i.e. if interest rates go up the price of your bond goes down). |

US Savings Bonds (I and EE) are by far the safest investments because they're backed by the federal government, always earn interest and are paid on time. The downside is that your money is locked up for a minimum of one year, and there is a 3 month penalty for withdrawing the funds before 5 years. If you choose bonds, then use their online service http://www.treasurydirect.gov to manage your account. They're much better than paper bonds and it only takes one day to transfer the redeemed bonds to your bank account. I've been using the site for 3 years and Iove it.
The US government also issues notes and t-bills. They are issued in incriments of $1000, which you can purchase wholesale at auction. It sounds complicated, but teh whole process is automated online. You just enter the amount of bills you want and when the auction comes around, your notes are purchased automatically. The price is generally 'set' by the banks and financial institutions as they buy up millions of dollars worth at a time. You generally get them for around .950 - .990 per dollar, earning anywhere from .10 - .50 per dollar in interest. Minimum hold time is 30 days, at which time they can be sold without penalty.
CDs and FDIC backed money market accounts and high-yield savings accounts are also good investments. They earn anywhere from a few tenths of a percent to over 5 percent per annum.
Lastly, if you don't mind a little risk, you can invest in unsecured debt. It's a little risker because there is no government or bank backing but the payoff is higher. Prosper and Ford Credit both sell unsecured loans. |

T-bills are safe. They are gauranteed by the government. They are also in US dollars. The US dollar is falling. So T-Bills gaurantee that your money will be there, but worth less.
Invest in uranium stocks. There hasn't been a down week for uranium prices in years. Hundreds of nuclear power plants are being built and the shortage of uranium is going to cause the price to increase. Go see 'The Dines Letter' for more info.
Gold & Silver should also rise. US dollar should decline. Real estate prices should fall over the next several years. How many twenty-somethings have enough money to purchase a 400k to $1 million dollar home? How many baby boomers are going to be retiring? |
