Probably just a caravan or large tent.....although you might be able to pick up an old run down ex council house in liverpool or somewhere grotty up north if your after that sort of thing. |

I don't think you will get much of value as for buying property at that price. There are tax liens or foreclosures or confiscation sales because of crimes committed by the owners, but most won't be worth much. As for renting commercial property, yeah, you can do that, but renting is an expense, not quite the same accounting feature as an investment. |

For 10k you could probably buy a nice house with a big yard in the middle of nowhere or you could buy a forest somewhere out in the country. But if you would like to live close to the city, land prices are higher, so you'll need more money for that... unless you want to travel 50 miles to get to the nearest grocery store. :) |
