What should I do? should I return it or not?
I bought a laptop with money left from school financial aid. It was like 900 anyway... I am regreting it now... we alreayd have a pc at home but i have to share it with my brother and sister. I always wanted a laptop but I also think it was a waste of money... should I return it and keep using the family computer until next year?...i really misss those 900 in my bank account.... what should I do? i only have 5 more days to return it.
you should return it, tell you brothers and sisters that you will beat the **** out of them if they don't get off the family computer this second
Calista
I would suggest you to keep it. Laptop is portable, while your home pc is not. It might be useful in the future when you go outstation. You will certainly get more benefit than the cost you spent.

The laptop is a good investment, however... if you feel that you could use the money in better ways to further your education then take it back.
I promise though, it will certainly come in handy for assignments and papers. While $900 seems like a big amount, in the long run I think you will be glad that you purchased it!
Good luck !: )

Keep it.

If you have any doubts return it quickly and get your money back. Buy one when you feel more comfortable. And incidentally, you can buy a very good lap top for half that money (£450).

If you don't believe you will get 900 dollars of use out of it, return it and use the money for something you are sure will be worthwhile.

Keep the laptop... It may turn out to be very useful. Unless you need the money for something else. Hard for a family to use 1 family PC unless no one else uses it... So I guess it depends on the availability of the home computer. If you can use it anytime... Take the laptop back and pocked the money for something else.

If you miss that those $900, you should return it!!!
Go online and search Dell Inspiron 1501. It is only $499 or 549 maybe plus shipping/handling

You should take it back if you are able to do so. You can buy a great laptop from Dell online for a lot less. If you aren't going to return to shool until next year, wait until then to get a laptop. They will be better and cheaper.
