What will the bailout do the value of the dollar?
And prices of commodities? Such as food.

iraqisax
It will lower the purchasing power of the dollar. The process is known as inflation.

Inflation does not occur with real money (gold and silver), but is inevitable with fiat (unbacked paper) money. Inflation allows politicians and the central bank to steal wealth. They do this by printing more currency. More paper dollars being exchange for the same amount of goods and services means each dollar will purchase less. This is the Law of Supply and Demand. Printing more currency increases its supply. Since there is no more to buy, the demand for dollars remains the same, and so the dollars value is diminished.

This explains why politicians and the Federal Reserve fight any attempt to restore honest money (which the Constitution defines as gold and silver). Honest money retains its value.

The bail out will result in an increase of paper dollars. Each dollar in circulation will dilute those dollars that were already in circulation. Price will go up.

Politicians and the Federal Reserve benefit, the taxpayer looses. The only way to end this criminal theft of our wealth is to abolish the Federal Reserve and return to honest money.

The bailout package that is about to be rammed down Congress' throat is not just economically foolish. It is downright sinister. It makes a mockery of our Constitution, which our leaders should never again bother pretending is still in effect. It promises the American people a never-ending nightmare of ever-greater debt liabilities they will have to shoulder. Two weeks ago, financial analyst Jim Rogers said the bailout of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac made America more communist than China! "This is welfare for the rich," he said. "This is socialism for the rich. It's bailing out the financiers, the banks, the Wall Streeters."
PLEASE VOTE "NO" FOR ANY BANK BAILOUT!

End The Fed!!!
Give Iraqisax 10 pts. I'll take my 2 and give you a star. Great question with a Great Answer there.

I've posted this question several times with my alter ego ..The subvertor, only to have it removed each time within an hour.
Lets see if this one doesn't go the same route.

Obviously it devalues the currency, at a certain point "Hyperinflation" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperinflation
will kick in, and when it does boys and girls there will be one of two choices for Americans, Insurrection, or
"The North American Union"

Outstanding answer by Iraqisax, thank you.

Eliminate The Federal Reserve Bank. Solve 90% of the US and the world problems.

1)FR prints and lend $1 to the gov at 10% Interest rate
2) The gov has $ 1 in hand but owes $ 1.10, cycle continues.
3) The gov has no income, That's why FR created the IRS to steal Americans money
4) our Entire Federal Tax goes to pay what gov owes to FR.
and that money end's up in Europe in some Elites bankers pockets. who insults our Constitutions like this.

"Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes it's laws"
Mayer Amschel Buer Rothschild ( Freaking long name ! lol )
Rothschild Family Banker ; Major Stockholder in the Federal Reserve.

What should we the people of the America do ?

"This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it, or their revolutionary right to dismember or overthrow it"
Abraham Lincoln

Best answer to iraqisak. Even I can understand that. However what can the ordinary people do to help to abolish the Federal Reserve Bank? We don't get to vote on these things and the opinion of anyone without money doesn't count for anything.

These days if you don't have money, you don't have an opinion. We need to take our country back and if there was ever a time for the public to follow Abe Lincoln's advice it is now. It is difficult because people with money have a way of shutting up and putting out any opposition that stands in the way of their ill gained wealth.

I lived in Russia after Glasnost but in the remote area I was in it was still crazy. Those Russians were making what amounted to $35 a month but it costs about $5 a pound for meat and a dollar for a dozen eggs. The only way to survive there was to be involved with some brand of Russian mafia and buy and sell on the black market which everyone did by necessity. Even I bought from the black market as the legal stores were out of everything when the USSR fell.

It will be the same when it happens here. (When, not if.) The only way to survive in the U.S. very soon will be to become illegal but that will be okay because what is now illegal will soon be legalized. Right now things that should be criminal are permitted so we don't have that much further to go.

If this bail out succeeds (and of course it will) we will be saved only in the short run and the next hit will be a thousand times worse.

A dollar will be worth a penny if that much. Did you save $100,000? It will be worth $1000 when this bail out is finished. Do you owe $200,000? You will be as easy to pay off as a $2000 credit line because you will have a lot of dollars worth nothing. Those in debt will prosper and those who save and live within there means will be punished.

Don't expect the middle class, and people working two jobs to get raises. The middle class, honest people are expected to remain honest and pick up a third job, work themselves silly, become sick and pay for your own medical care.

In the words of GWB...screw the middle class! (He didn't say it but he should go ahead and come clean...he's doing it!)
