Been There~Done That!
You made the agreement when you bid to accept responsibility for payment if you were high bidder. You were and you need to. Unless of course you can get in touch with the seller and explain to them the situation.

Be honest. Most sellers on EBay have e-mails so you can get in touch with them.

If you end up not paying and stringing them along. It will make you look bad plus you have have to live with it.

Honesty pays.

Talk to the seller, sometimes you can retract your bid after you won, with out any neg. feedback.

Funny Bunny
Once you bid for something you enter into a contract so no you cannot get out of it. You can buy it and then try selling it on ebay yourself.

jliusf
the seller is gonna give you a negative feedback.

Honey J

The Repo Depot will take your stuff if you back out of it.

You already agreed to buy it. Pay up and count it as a lesson learned. Then turn around and relist it on ebay.

waxingtheturtle
Dont pay for it and take the negative feedback.
