Well, if he were a woman named Martha Stewart, he'd be excoriated in the press and in the court of public opinion, beaten down and jailed. Then, after finishing his jail time, he'd be sentenced to house arrest, and then probation, and "screwed with" every time he tried to do his job.
Since he's a guy...he'll probably get a fine.

Bah they probably won't catch him directly and will tag him for the same crap they tagged martha stuart for. they know she was insider trading, and couldn't prove it, but could get her sent to prison anyway.

It's actually considered to be a very serious offense which could result in him seeing jail time if convicted. However, given the amount of money and celebrity he has it will most likely just result in a slap on the wrist. |

Slap on the wrist. This is an offense from 5 years ago. It is a relative small amount considering what he is worth. Really, who committed the crime. If someone told me I was going to loose $5 I would pull out. The real crime is by the person giving out the info. Also, people forget Martha went to prison for pergury not insider trading. As long as he tells the truth he will be fine. |
