I think its quite normal for any such institutions to have investments in outside instruments as in case of ICICI BAnk. Although the recent numbers reported a loss, I think its quite normal and then in the future run, the stock price of this bank would again surface to the same number. So if u are looking for buying this stock, then this is a good oppurtunity.

it is largest private bank in india. it is also growing at a rate much better than many. i think, if u have investment objective, this is a good stock for 2 years or more.
