I'm not too worried. People panic and sell and end up losing money. It's so stupid. Actually this is a great time to buy. If I had extra cash that's what I'd be doing. I have a strong feeling that once the election is over the economy is going to improve quite a bit - regardless of who wins. The media is doing it's best to spread fear right now so that people will vote for their Messiah. Once he wins or loses and they shut up people will start acting normal again. |

i think it will keep going....i think it will def get worse. not like the great depression where people will be living in tents...but everyone will feel it.
but i also think it will fix itself. the economy and the stock market are both seesaws. they go up and they go down.
America was in a surplus for years under the Clinton administration and even if we continuted that prosperity, it would eventually go down.
you can't make losses without making gains. and vice versa |

I think that there will be a great amount of volatility in the months to come, but it will go up eventually, because there are so many good deals in undervalued stocks right now. I'm looking at this of the opportunity of my lifetime: I'll have a chance to pick up stocks as if I bought them in the mid 90s!
I don't think that the government should be meddling in the banking system or the stock markets. Regardless, they will have relatively little effect. |

well, since it still ranks as the sixth biggest points loss, I'd say that it is probably going to continue crashing, I mean, honestly, we haven't seen relief yet. But, who knows, maybe there will be some sort of miracle. |
