The mass hysteria is only temporary. We'll recover very soon. The further down we drop the higher up we'll bounce. Traders run the market and right now they're riding these waves created by the credit-crisis. It's all being blown way outta proportion. GS and MS are down over 40% in the last 4 days from pure speculation. It's obsurd to say the least... When we recover, there will be a surge and daytraders and hedge funds will run all these beatdown stocks back up and make unbelievable profits. |

Don't be worried. When this society crumbles under its own weight it will be the most glorious day ever. Everything will come tumbling down... and then, guess what? We're all back at square one. The elite will be selling their mansions and yachts and raiding their savings for food money.
From the ashes, the underclass will rise up and revolt and a new America will be born. |

It means that alot of Peoples Savings are disappearing... -and WITH them, their hopes of buying a new car, a new house, a college education for their kids, going on a vacation...- you NAME it. And the MORE the Stock Market goes down, the WORSE this GETS... -until FINALLY, the WORST thing happens; people start losing their Jobs. When THAT happens- EVERYONE should start worrying about America! :0 |

since we are a consumer based economy, when our wealth goes down, we consume less. less consumption leads to less revs for companies, and they will will close leading to more unemployment, the unemployed people spend less money and the cycle repeats till a bottom |

The market going down affects you about as much as it does when its going up. If you actively invest in the market or have a 401k it will affect you short-term but long-term the market is usually very reliable. The key is to NOT over-react and begin alot of stock selling. If you are not invested in the stock market the only affects are having to hear about it every day. |
