this nice gentleman sold me some nice stocks while i was at the restaurant.
he had a briefcase of stocks which includes microsoft, google, ge, bank of america, walmart, and etc etc
he told me his case would worth 4 million dollars in the next 12 month and he was willing to sell it to me for just $50,000. so as a smart investor i am of course I purchased the case from him and wrote him a $50,000 check.
now I want to know a year from now how to I resell this case full of stocks to get my money. thanks |

you buy clothes in the mall
and you sure as hell buy stocks through a broker not some stranger!!

I don't know much about stocks but I would say that that was a stupid descision considering the economy is in a recession. You probably won't see that money again. But kudos on having that kind of money to lose.
Cause smart investers only invest what they can afford to lose RIght? And buddy---you just lost it! |

This must be a joke. if you are serious, I feel bad for you. I am sure that you bought fake certificates and you just lost $50,000. I hope you have the seller's contact info. Maybe you can resell the briefcase for $50. |

are you sure they were legitimate stock certificates?
first find that out...and if they are find out how much they are really worth to make sure he didnt rip you off..
like for example msft is worth about 29 bucks a share so if you have 100 shares of those thats 2900 dollars.
google is a little over 500...ge is going for 34...you can check on google finance or if you are confused jus take it to a stock broker.
if it is really worth less than 50,000-then u got ripped off and all you can do is hold and hope for it to go up to at least break even...and if that is the current case...i would sell all of them and get your money back...and next time open up an account at etrade or something and do your own stock trading online. |
