Eastern European countries that have recently joined the EU are your best bet, plus they are fantastic countries even if you went the holiday home route. I would suggest you look out for a few property fairs, I know they hold them here in Ireland not too sure about the rest of the world

I'm just back from Bulgaria and the prices of property to buy there, or have built for you are unbelievable cheap. Be careful though as i've heard there are a lot of cons. There's something about the government there owning part of it, so it will never really be all yours. |

Bulgaria or any other eastern European country have property from £5000 but check out the laws on land ownership before parting with any cash! |
