The Man with No Name
The stock market is not a simple place to go and buy low and sell high as wall street would want you to believe. Stocks right now are risky. One of the best investments is Certificate of Deposits or CD's for short. Savings accounts pay next to nothing in interest right now. Half of a percent last time I checked. The stock market is very alluring though. I have researched it thoroughly, and still am not quite sure why stocks rise and fall exactly. Don't fall for the success stories you hear; the janitors of Microsoft who are Millionares now, how buying American Online in the mid nineties could have made you filthy rich. Remember for every success story, there are hundreds and hundreds of people who lose badly. Watch Michael Moore's film: Capitalism A Love Story. This film gives you a realistic view of the market and who really profits from it. My motto is work alot at a job, save 50 percent of your earnings. Open an IRA account at your local bank, it will save you at tax time and put you some money aside for the golden years. Good luck and hope this helps.
