Any potential buyer will evaluate your jewelry for gold content, then offer you somewhat less that the spot value of the gold in your jewelry.

You might get an appraisal at a jeweler so you have some idea of the value.

lolz.... u can try a jewelry store.

Why sell it?

Unless you do not wear it or it is broken and would cost too much to repair, or you are desperate for money.

You will have bought it most probably from a jewellery shop and with the average markup of 300% to 1000% on the scrap value you are going to do a loss on the purchase.

If you want to sell your best hope is that you have high grade jewellery that is in demand and sell it privately.

I have a jewellery shop and I also sell goods on consignment and I charge a 20% commission. but be careful some jewellers charge up to 60%.
You should get the items appraised , but that will also cost you.

And then a rule of thumb is about 25 to 30% of the valuation is a reasonable price to get for second hand jewellery.
Pawnbrokers usually work on 10% of the valuation.

Jewllery bought at jeweller shop prices and even at the 50% off sales are not an investment they never will be.
The profit margin of a retail jeweller is such that if you had to sell in a hurry, you will always only get a small fraction of your money back. Most jewellers will not even have the decency to purchase the items back even at 50% less, that will give you an indication of the true worth of jewellery.

Anyhow all I can say further is do a lot of research when you are selling, check out prices from various stores and dealers.

Depends on the quality of the jewelry. Scrap and broken pieces like single earrings are best sold to a refiner...see how to do it here:

For more expensive pieces you'll get the highest prices by shopping them around. Pieces are that are antiques or rare are worth taking to different jewelry stores in your area to see who will pay out the most

My friend sold hers to a site online. She did a lot of research on different online places, and liked this one the best. They are members of the BBB. There is a lot of great information on the site if you would like to check it out.
