Where is all the money in the U.S. going? ?
The economy is so bad right now but I don't understand where all the money is going. If someone gives money to another, he then turns around and spends on something else. So why is the economy so bad if our money is constantly being rotated back into our own economy? I know about inflation and money is generated to keep up with it. So please explain this.

china, japan, mylasia, taiwan, mexico, russia and the middle east! any where but here!

When the economy is bad it doesn't necessarily have to do with how much paper money everyone has. Most money right now has been lost in the value of stocks, houses and other investments. If people lose money in terms of their net worth they will most likely spend less paper money which makes businesses suffer due to lower sales. The last thing the government wants to do is just print more paper money because that makes our money worth less.

It's going towards military.

During the last 8 years, the middle class has been wiped out. It has been wiped out due to millions of jobs being outsourced to other countries. These jobs were never replaced. Thus, the people who used to work those jobs done have any money to spend. That money is now overseas.

Well the MONEY isn't going anywhere. The amount of resources being traded into the country is decreasing which means either the fed can distribute more cash to fix the stocks but cause inflation (because even more money will exist for the limited resources, forex supply/demand shifts) or they can continue letting the numbers fall but keep inflation controlled. The major companies in the country are falling which means the country has less influence around the world meaning demand for their products is decreasing and eventually the companies become confined to US only demand and thats when the money starts going in circles but that can never happen because the demand for commodities such as oil.

There are many factors which can explain your answer.

Actually, the economy is doing very well. It's the media that's painting gloom and doom. I rarely watch TV.

All of the money is going to foreign countries to pay for goods we import and to pay the interest on the national debt.
Right now we are seeing deflation instead of inflation.

The money just isn't going into loans to companies that would be borrowing and spending if business was good. Instead many are losing money or seeing reduced earnings.

Buddy
To fight and rebuild and support all the other countries.
Give me all the thumbs down you want, but it's true that's where our money is going. Not saying it's all bad, but our country is in a mess and were still sending money to these other countrys.

because when compared to other countries, we arent earning as much, and as a result, our gold isnt worth as much.
and we're in the middle of a war and several conflicts, and war is one of the most expensive things ever.
