Promoting your website online is not a simple point and click task it takes a combination of a few different things.
1: You can start with traffic exchange programs.
2: Submit your website to link directories that are SEO friendly.
3: write articles with your link in the author bio. Or you can get a ghost writter to write some articles for you.
4: Submit your site to the main search engines and be sure to optimise your site for the keywords you are trying to get index for.
5: start a blog at blogger and write about your sites subject. Link back to your website and promote your blog the same way.
6: Use Google Adwords or other pay per click engines to drive traffic to your website.
7: Use social bookmarking and other social networking sites to promote your biz. (myspace, hi5, squidoo, del.icio.us, etc...)
8: Post in forums with your link in the signature.
The list goes on and on. Traffic generation is an ever changing thing that you must stay on top of.

Search Engines: Yahoo, Google, MSN and Ask.com. Google adwords is the best and the easiest to use. You would pay per click. You can even hire a company pretty inexpensively to do it for you. See someone really small like www.granularsolutions.net or some such. |
