find you a home... maybe a mobile home for cheap. In ohio you can get them as cheap as about $1000 but you'll want to buy one for about $5,000 and put a little money into it fix it up and then sell it for 10,000 or whatever you decide is fit for it. This is a very profitable way of living. This statement goes for anything buy something old, give it a little TLC and sell it for double what you paid or whatever you consider fair for the certain item |

I'd put it into an IRA (to avoid taxes and get a deduction)
I'd put 2,000 in the S&P 500 ETF, probably the equal weight one to get more small cap flavor.
I'd put 2,000 into a mutual fund focused on Asian and Autralian stocks.
I'd put 2,000 into a European fund.
I'd put 1,000 into a Latin American fund.
I'd leave these investments alone for about 30 years and add to it as I could. |
