I like Exxon. Pays a dividend, and seems to go up 20+% a year. There are people who would say real estate, but that means you have to manage it, whereas with stock you make one decision and that's it.

$50,000.00 in cash could buy a lot of real estate. That's where I would go. Not in just one home but maybe an apartment complex or something like that. Watch the areas you buy in and you can make buko bucks in equity. The money will make only a down payment but the rent can make the payments on the investment.

I would recommend you to do Forex trading as it gives you good returns. Remember you can start with as little as $25 or even have free demo account to practise Forex trading.

The " highest"? you'd have to move around a few times in five years.
But. in general I would think you would have to get a lot into Chinese and Latin American markets...and also something like minerals, raw materials, mining
To be safer, I would just research some mutual funds with the exposure I mentioned............and throw in a little real estate ( domestic and international) and watch oil prices ( any turmoil in mid-east or Africa)

Highest gain is Options Trading but most likely if you know nothing about it you'll lose all your money. All Specualative investments for the "HIGHEST" gains, but might as well gamble it in Vegas I say.

Dang
