Hasmukh P | Which are the best Mutual funds in liquid for shorty term investing? |
|
|

Net Advisor
|
Money market mutual funds, preferable with a non fluctuating price, such as end of day $1.00 NAV; and funds that are FDIC backed are the ONLY mutual funds for short term investing and that are liquid.
Anything outside that scope is speculative in the short run. |

Mutual funds are not meant for short term investment. You may try try your luck with good shares which have fallen in price recently. |

Brokerages generally discourage frequent mutual fund trading by ways of fees and/or limiting repurchase. From what I've seen, limitations and fees tend to be lowest on index funds. As others are suggesting, ETFs may be a better option, though there are stock trading fees. |

A better option would be to buy ETF's (Exchange Traded Funds).
You can buy and sell ETF's just like individual company stock.
You can also get diversification just like a mutual fund, and fees are generally lower than a mutual fund.
A good website on ETF's is www.etfguide.com |
