Which cities are the best place to invest on real estate like some flip deals?
Part of the process in being ready to "invest" is knowing exactly what you are doing in order to protect any appreciation you might enjoy.
To protect yourself you need to educate yourself on the type of investment you wish to delve into.
Research "flip deals" then decide if it is a good investment or not. In a whole lot of areas now is NOT a flip environment.
Good luck!

If your looking in the US good luck . . . prop. value is plummeting and everything is going back on the market at reduced prices, maybe you can find some cheap houses to renovate in smaller cities like Louisville, KY but there isn't a future in it as the majority wont have the money to own a home w/ incomes and jobs disappearing.

You might be able to buy foreclosures in over-saturated markets. However, reselling them is a problem right now. The market has really turned (I have friends who have houses on the market in NJ, FL and OH - they have been on the market for two years!). You might try investing with the purpose of renting them. Talk to a real estate agent in your area and ask them what trends they are seeing.
