I recommend you to Buy SBI as it has max. reach in india , in small town also it is available at very good bargin the EPS for March 08 estimated is 120. with 2 digit growth rate, thus with P/E of 20 (this is the avg. p/e of industry) the valuation comes to 2400.
ICICI bank is also a good buy at the current level as it is the largest private sector bank and with the announcement of IPO for ICICI sec. this bank is very good prospect for the growth.
