Additional Details Let me explain something here: The american dollar isn't worth a damn in foreign markets(which we use to import things we need), so if the DOW goes down, the value of the american dollar goes up! That's a GOOD thing!
I would be except my 401K is involved... BUT if it means greedy CEO's will be exposed for their disregard for everyone but themselves, and the corruption will be exposed, I'm secretly pleased...

well i do lose 50% of my portfolio right now but i have more cash right now than in stocks so I am kind of happy we have a total melt down and maybe in 2 years i can buy a house cheap with low interest rate and invest in stocks when market bottoms.

The Dow down, means lots of unemployment in the future. Anybody jumping for joy, because people with investment lost their money wont jump anymore, after the last day of work in a couple of month.
