smendler | Who stands to make the most money from the Iraq invasion? |
That's a serious factual question -- I'm looking for an estimate of which individuals and/or companies are or will be realizing the greatest actual profit from the invasion of Iraq. |

Despite what the liberal media imply about what they perceive as evil American leadership, the ones with the most to gain from our military activity in Iraq is Iraqi business owners, who are now free to do business and hope that between the US and Iraq leadership, they will soon have security. |

Dick Cheney's former employer, Halliburton, has done quite well for itself. No surprise! |

1)construction companies
2)weapon manufacturers
3)transporting companies
4)security companies
5) top level army officers who would get contract for there relatives or friends and take share in there business profit or take a sum of money for getting them contract . |

Whoever gets their hands on Iraq's oil will get the big bucks. That's the real reason why America is invading Iraq. |

The most money? I don't know. I do know that the Bush Family (both George W and his father) gained a lot because of their investments in the defense companies.
Ask Michael Moore -- he'll know. |

You can answer that yourself. |

I'd have to guess Halliburton. They're getting fat government contracts to supply the military and to do the so-called reconstruction.
It's brilliant, isn't it? They get paid to help destroy things, then they get paid again to rebuild them. |

Boeing, any one with interest in Oil, Hummer, I don't know who makes our tanks, body armor for the troops, and who ever we get our guns and ammo from. You see where I'm going with this. Motorola makes land mines. I'm not 100% sure if we are using them though. Then you have to look at the non-piloted aircraft manufactures, all the technology companies involved with supporting our communications and operating systems in the field. |

HALLIBURTON, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrup Grumman, Raytheon, General Dynamics, United Technologies. Honeywell, Hughes, Rockwell, Textron..........all defense contractors.
As a side note....over $5,200,000.00 given to the repubelican party in campaign donations during the 2004 cycle by Defense PACS. |

Depends on how you see things; i mean, just like money serves a purpose; invasion does too. Be it politics, economic, or whatever reasons an invasion is launched upon, those who'll make the money are those who have their own agenda running smoothly in terms of "the cash machine go ca-ching!!" In this case, big USA, France, and UK co.s, lah |
