Why did no one was able to predict such a shall fall in the share market?

Geez, you just negated all of my work and my very existence. I'm not even "no one."

You're generalizing, and that will get you nowhere.

Actually, nobody can "predict" anything. The future is uncertain, that much we should agree upon.

But some can call a market turn very early with different technical indicators. Many can see the turn, but have no idea how far it will go. Only in hindsight do we sit and wonder, "Why couldn't we see this?"

Why rely on others to see things for you? You ask this question like someone owes you protection or something. Actually, there are people that will watch it for you full time if you pay them to do so.

Calling the turns is a very difficult thing that not many can do, and so this expertise is worth something. But to expect everyone to keep you informed for nothing is asking a little much, don't you think?

I'm glad i'm not a share holder

That's really the whole point of the stock market: if you don't know what's going on, you will lose your money.

And Indian stocks? Bwa hahahahah ha heh ha.

If markets were perfectly predictable, they couldn't work. If everone knew the market was going to fall, nobody would buy shares.

Each time someone buys or sells a share they are making a prediction on how it will perform. One side has to be right and the other wrong.

Clever traders will sell at least part of their holdings into strong rallies, and buy back in when panic selling sets in. Clever traders are in the minority, though. And nobody gets it right all the time.

There is an old saying that the stock market is where people with experience meet people with money. The people with experience get the money, and the people with money get the experience.

Better luck next time.

Because it's not really a FALL but a correction...just wait and see what will happen in the next few weeks....:)

Too much of a prediction turns into disaster that's why.

Many predict that, but no one can predict the exact day and time.

It is no brainer to predict that.

That the stock markets would be correcting the overbought markets was expected, just the speed and sharpness of it was unexpected. But you can't predict panic sales.

no one predicted this fall because of euphoria of rising indices.however the market is controlled buy FII S and they sold out at higher prices without anyone getting a whiff of it
