Why do LIBERALS cheer when the stock market goes down and business suffers?
Why do LIBERALS get so happy when there is bad economic news? Why don't LIBERALS want America to succeed?

who's cheering? I'm definitely NOT a conservative and I'm not making any money in my 401k if the stock market is down and I'm definitely NOT happy! B.S. Generalizations like that are stupid

Because they'd rather the world be crummy and be right, than have the world be grand and have to admit to being wrong.

Seriously, I've known liberals who cheer when they have stories of the world going poorly when a republican is in charge of that area.

mrrosema
Most liberals I know are not happy about the markets, but are smart enough to realize that
1) Markets go up and down so now is a time to buy, when stocks are low.
2) Some businesses do poorly because they are poorly managed.
3) People may lose their jobs in a downturn, which liberals are not at all happy with

People that are happy about the market going down are just as often ignorant as of a particular party.

Some business leaders use downturns in the economy to justify layoffs or outsourcing.

Also, why do they want to raise gas taxes on the people they supposedly want to help the most: the poor and middle class. Nothing hurts families more than the price at the pump.

If I could, I would short liberals.

They are communists/socialists that want everybody to be equal, which can't happen in a capitalist system. What I want to know is, why are there so many rich liberals? I thought they were all about giving it to other people so there are no "rich" people.

A nobody
I don't think Liberals really cheer when the market drops, nor when business suffers. They are however glad to see this happen when the Republicans or conservatives are in office since its a way a blaming others.
Usually the ecomony is bad markets when the democratic party is in power mostly because of their tax & spend policies. So when things get bad when another party in power there is the relief that they did not cause it,

Tax & spend politics does not work and this has been the democrats

Ranto
Liberals do not cheer when the market goes down.

In fact -- just the opposite. Academic research shows that the stock market does better when Democrats are in office than when Republicans are in office. And this isn't just a little bit better -- it is more like 9% better.

You are completely misinformed. Educate yourself.

Wow, what a ridiculous question! Liberals do not cheer when anything bad happens to the economy, where are you getting this information from? I am a liberal and I don't like it when the stock market has a correction. (I also want gas prices to be controlled so that it's cheaper for everyone) I don't like this turmoil in our economy right now because I don't think it's going to improve very soon, and I need it to in order to make more money at my job so I can afford my house payment.
