i agree with sarah's comments... Google is just plain search engine... compared to yahoo and others... there is too much clutter.. the other SE have has to much stuff on there homepage and i guess that a lot of people...... |

'coz that one thing where google is good at is what they needed... having google good at the thing despite only that one but the one needed by those who like and need it makes google the one they like than the others and maybe be'coz they find it good than the others on the only one they're good at... |

Some people don'y want the hype and bonus extra things, they only want a search engine.
And Google is easy to get to, easy to remember, quick to find things, pretty accurate, as well as having several different searches in several different areas. (Images, groups, they'll even soon have a complete list of all books published within the past hundred years, that kind of thing.) |
