Why doesn't the Dow just die, already?
Shouldn't there be euthanasia for irreversibly sick markets

The Dow is not a person, therefore it cannot die.

Move on
Unfortunately, there are activist groups who will prolong its pain and suffering for years and years and years.

Dow doesn't die, Dow is the story teller. The companies are what's dying and our economy.

The market is down about 36%. To this point, seems like your typical bear market. Markets rarely (if ever) die. 25 years from now when I retire, this will be just another correction, amongst other corrections.

The more people talk this way, the more I think we are nearing the bottom (if we're not there already). Me thinks there are many bargains out there. I was buying my company stock at 70 a share. I like it much better at 33.

Irreversible, my ***. You don't know much market history.

It's doing just fine. In the late 70's the DOW was around 900. So 8000 is a party. You have to take the long view with these markets.

its dying,
Rome wasn't crushed in a day...
