Why money is NOT important to you?

The more you make the more you spend as a value. Tangible assets are better.

Because the best things in life are free.

(Reality as an adult $$$$$ is important to survive. The best way to ensure that is a good education. But for that human connection... money should not even be a factor)

Anyone who says that money is NOT important to them is lying. I'm sorry, but it's true. The next time you go to pay your rent or your mortgage tell your landlord or bank that money just is not important. When your child needs braces, tell the orthodontist that money is not important. Hey guys, when your wife is completely stressed out because you can't pay the bills tell her; "honey, money just isn't that important". For something that isn't important why then is the lack of money and financial strain the biggest cause of divorce in this country?

I love how people say money doesn't make you happy. Interesting thought. I've had no money and I've had money. Seems to me that I am a whole heck of a lot happier with money as compared to not having it. My fridge is full, my bills are paid, I can get my car fixed when it needs to be repaired, I can take my girlfriend out on dates and pay for the whole thing.

Money is very important to me. A good friend of mine said to me once, "money is a tool, nothing more, nothing less. If you want to build a house you need the proper tools i.e, a hammer, saw, nails etc...) Money can buy happiness. By being able to provide for my families financial needs, that makes me happy. When I am able to get my kids the things they want and they give me a huge hug, that makes me happy.

It's funny, I have never heard someone who doesn't have to worry about their finances ever say money isn't important. I have only ever heard broke people who have no money say it's not important.

If you think that money isn't important then I want you to prove it. When payday comes around and you receive your paycheck I want you to go back to your boss and explain to him that there is some sort of a mistake. Say "I'm sorry, I guess I gave you the wrong impression when you hired me. Money isn't important to me, I am here for the fun of it I don't want this check because money isn't important to me".

Money isn't important, give me a million breaks.

I agree with everything big_dreamer2005 said . And to those that think "money is not important" , please try to imagine what your life would be if you wake up tomorrow without a single dollar.

certainly money is not important but the way in which it is utilised makes the difference.

First of all, prob wrong section for your question.

But I think once you look around you and get older, you realize that by working your life away you are wasting it and the things that make you happy are your family, friends, laughter and traveling and seeing the world.

Because I have a terminal diease ( cancer ) & no amount of money is gonna help me, so its not important.

because you cant take it with you when you go and it cant buy you love happiness or respect
