It is the impact of the Sub-Prime Crisis of the USA. US markets are down because big sized banks in US have done default lending. Now they are unable to recover their dues due to which they are going bankrupt.
There is financial crisis in the US, People, Corporates need liquid money. So they are withdrawing their investments from all other parts of the World. This is causing heavy OUT-FLOW of Investment from all other major economies, including India. ( Hence our share markt is tumbling)
Similarly investors across the World are withdrawing their funds from USA, fearing their economic turmoil. Thus Overall the World Markets are falling.
Liquidity is the prime necessity, Investors are losing confidence in Corporates.
Market Sentiments are low.
