can any one tell me whether I get any allotment if I applied for an IPO on its last day? Please post your experiences here.... Are they alloting the shares after the issue is closed or they do that before? I want to apply for Future Capital IPO but its Day 3 Now.... If I apply tomoro will I get any allotment?

Allotment is not based on how early you apply.
If over subscribed, a predefined methodology is applied for allotment. Otherwise, allotment is done based on lot. |

Theey don't give preference to any body, who u are and wich date u bid.
U can any time bid before the time of closing date.

As long as your application is in before the final cut off, you should get the same allocations as everybody else. At least thats in the UK. If you got less try enquiring as to how the stock was allocated. |

I don't think time matters as long as you have applied and the application is accepted.
Normally all the applications gets compiled and sgregated according to the no of shares applied and allotment is based on availabilty and proportionally. |

Probabilty of allotment does not depend upon date, time and place of application .
It depends upon 'auspicious time ' |

it doesn't matter if you applied before or at the last moment as far as you applied in the prescribed manner in prescribed time. |

you can apply anythime you feel like but before the closing day. eg. of the rage is 11jan to 15 jan, u must apply latest by 15th jan. it does not matter whether u apply on 1st day, last day or in between. the alottment is NOT first come first served |
