Will the dollar continue to rise in the coming months?
I need to pay collage tuition in US dollars, and I was wondering should I exchange them now or should I wait?

Changing to dollars? Your question didnt make a ton of sense but if you are trading from one currency to another it was wise to wait.

The dollar took a dive and wont be back soon. The feds made the interest rate 0-.25%. That is pretty much the lowest they can go. All currencies skyrocketed this afternoon against the dollar.

So to answer your question, no it wont rise it will fall for months.

Dollar is done as of two weeks ago. Wait as long as possible and they will get cheaper. Of course I could be wrong.

There should not be a great deal of change as long as we are in a recession. Once the economy picks up in a year or so, expect the dollar to drop and energy (oil) to rise (since the US is a net energy importer). One of our (Canadian) sons is in a similar situation, starting a Masters degree in Australia early 2009, He worked in the USA on a visa and has a considerable US account balance. We watch exchange rates daily!!
So. Our expectation is that exchange will be roughly stable for at least a year, and he'll buy AUS dollars without worrying about whether they are from his US account or his Canadian account.

Continue to rise? It has been declining lately.

There a ton of different opinions on this. Within months, it will probably continue to deflate. Within a year or two, I think the dollar will collapse and go into hyperinflation.

I am not a political expert, but here is how I see it. The U.S. is not on a gold standard as it once was. We are now, sadly, an oil standard. The quantity, quality, and price of oil in the U.S. determines the value of the dollar. I am not going to get accusatory, but the government has not been very quick to start drilling in our country and increase the value of the dollar. The dollar may increase in value over the next month, possibly two, but it will not last. Has anyone observed the fact that the instant Obama is elected, the economy (a.k.a. petroleum prices) takes a huge drop? Messiah? I think not! Jesus Christ is the only Messiah!

no, the only reason our economy isn't so bad right now is because of the sales gained from Christmas shopping.... so what happens to the dollar when Christmas is over,
i predict it will drop substantially
