Would a simple bounty of $1,000,000,000 work to capture Osama bin Laden?

No, I think he is priceless. Wouldn't they have him already. He is still out there for some reason.....

They don't want to find him...The reason? If you find him it makes people want to end the war even more because it takes away the idea that terrorism is still out there. Yes Americans are that simple minded. Imagine how the public would react if he was captured....People would say "yes the guy behind 9/11 is finally caught.....lets bring our boys home...and bush would say...umm..no we can't we have to finish freeing Iraq...and people would say...To hell with that...we got what we started the war for lets end it...and bush would say...umm...No...sorry....can't do it.

We dont want to capture or kill him. Why can we find Hussien in a hole in the ground, but we have not a clue as to where Bin laden is? Could it be because we buy oil from his dad?

Not sure about that one. Bin Laden is almost certainly in Pakistan, a country whose people are largely sympathetic to his cause. Pervez Musharraf has taken quite a bit of heat- and survived two very serious assassination attempts- for his support of the war on terror and likely would allow us to go in to get Bin Laden if this wasn't the case. When his grip on power and quite possibly his life depends on walking this fine line I don't know that $1,000,000,000 is going to do much to tip the scales.

cowboy
in my honest opinion i dont think they want to capture him ..for what reason i dont know.you heard it from olddog

billysimas
The reward we have in place already is more than enough. increasing the reward does not proportionally increase the chances of finding him. There's no one out there saying "eh, I won't turn him in for $25 million but I'll do it for $1 billion!"

People in Pakistan, Afganistan and Iran can not even fathom $25M. Its too much money. It's like me offering you $25 trillion. You wouldn't believe I'd give it to you and you know you would die if you turned him in.

Rock
i don't think capturing or killing him is any use
it'd probably give those terrorists more motivation to do stuff

Big Bully
There is a reward

1 billion dollars? Ok, I guess if you were Austin Powers. There already is a bounty on him. Even if he was caught, the violence wouldnt stop so what difference does it make.

Rest assured, the Bushes, and the Bin Ladens are best of friends. Don't believe all that B.S. they're trying to feed us about this phony war on terror. It's all the Illuminati trying to start world war 3. Watch for more terrorist attacks blamed on Iran this time, so we can go over there and bomb them for our good buddies Israel. The situation is heating up. It's just a matter of time before it explodes.
