Impossible to tell without knowing how much the bank in question pays on a savings account and how often interest is paid and compounded. It's very likely fluctuated a lot in the last 26 years; savings rates are on the rise again, but a few years ago they were hovering around 1%. I'd guess you have doubled your money in that time, but probably not much more than that.
That's assuming it hasn't gone dormant, been escheated to the state or been fee'd out of existence. |
