If you don't know what to spend it on, save it for something you might want in the future.
The worst thing you can do is just spend money because you have it. Saving it means you keep it for later. There might be something you really want or need later - if you spend the money now, you won't have it when you need it. |

Well, $100 is not all that much money but depending on how old you are it can be a lot.
The rule of thumb when learning to budget and save is to pay yourself first. If I were you, I would spend $20 and put $80 into savings.

don't spend it until you know what you want to spend it on without a doubt, and until then put it in the bank so it can help you earn more money. If you spend it on something you don't really want now, before you know it there will be something you really really want and then you wont have the money for it. |
