Pasta what ever kind you like that is on sale or house brand. Flavored canned tomatoes (to put on pasta) Tuna. Milk. Check out fresh veggies and seasonal fruits. They are usually not very expensive. Do not buy frozen meals. Cheaper to fix your own stuff. I assume you already have salt pepper and other seasonings. Check out a website called hillbilly housewife for lots of ideas. Dried beans are cheap and easy to fix and also very good for you. Cheaper cuts of meat can be cooked for a long time to make them more tender. Cooking them in the tomatoes will help. Good luck. Been there, done that. could not afford the tee shirt. Check your per unit price on the shelf tags to get the most economical size. |

Hot dogs,=$1.00 bread=$1.12, 3packs of ground turkey=$3.20 spaghetti noddles=$1.00 Bologna lunch meat is the cheapest lunch meat that is =$1.00, koolaid=5 for$ 1.00, sugar i dont really known how much sugar is because I use splender but I guess it;s $1.50, oh wait i forgot spaghetti sauce for your spaghetti noddles and ground turkey because if you make a big pot of spaghetti it will last for a while and its always good left over. 2 cans of sauce=$2.00 and dozen eggs for breakfast and you already buying bread so you can have toast with your eggs. and last you need a snack... Little Debbie snack cakes are good and cheap they are usually $1.00 or sometimes $1.12. |
